Recently, I got to take a DNA test from Ancestry.com and my results came in faster than I though! Surprisingly, I have a bit of Italian and Greek genetics despite being predominantly Asian-Islander. How cool is that?
That made me think of what stories my ancestors could have held and what their lives could have been. Now in my family, it is difficult at times to find out any histories from beyond the mid-1800's. Knowing the context of merchants and sailors, I can only guess that's how that mixing happened.

A family tree starts with you. |
Now this is how journals come in handy because in the future generations who get curious about their past family members can get a good idea of what life was in the past such as the mindset of the time period.
Here's a challenge:
- Write 1 page a day in a journal about what life is like for you either from your past or now.
- If you have a video or audio journal, take a few minutes to discuss what life is like.
Have fun with journaling!
