I recently went to Burlington (again) and found some amazingly cute journals while I was there!

Once again, there is a trend in unicorns and mermaids as I saw. I actually like it as it reminded me much of childhood!

 Mainly, these journals were between the prices of $3 (USD) and $8, which is honestly not bad. It is better priced than buying journals online...unless you use an online journal which are usually freemiums.

Freemiums are where some social media platform (more or less) is free and if you want to use a certain feature, you'll have to pay for a premium.

 I think that with this journal on the left was actually a planner when I looked through it.

I noticed that some stores now have planners that are so cute that I sometimes mistake them for journals!

Confession: I'm not being paid by any stores to do this post, but I absolutely love the journals they have there!

If you're going to write a journal, there are so many options--especially in designs! Find one that fits you! These journals are so unique like people that you hardly find the same journal twice.

FINDS | Cute Finds!

Recently this past two weeks, I got to go to Burlington Coat Factory and Tuesday Morning whilst shopping and it was fun to check the journal aisles again. These stores have fun journals to find and these are the journals I had found along the way:

This first journal comes from Burlington Coat Factory of a unicorn cover with metal edgings. The inscription on this cover reads: Always Believe in your Dreams. The journals here range between $3USD to $10USD. They are amazing qualities and this unicorn journal caught my attention because I rarely see any journal like this! It was rather unique!

 This journal and the following journals are from Tuesday Morning. The journals here are almost always one of a kind. This journal had a leather cover with a gold glimmer to it. The inscription reads: Shine like a star. It was a small journal and beautiful as I am fascinated by astronomy. (Side note: I had taken astronomy one semester and loved it!)

 This fuzzy, spiral bound journal with a mermaid taking a selfie was another amazing find! It reads: #selfie on the front. Once again, this is a type of journal I usually don't find as it's such a unique journal! It's quirky and I love it! Funny enough, this journal reminded me of a friend I have who absolutely is fascinated by mermaids.

 For all those art nerds out there, like me, know this stylized art was inspired by Andy Warhol. That was the reason why this journal caught my eye. All you dog lovers and art lovers would love this small journal! (For you cat lovers, there's a cat version, too!)

Finally, this spiral bound journal with dog decorations and inscription: Life is Better with a Dog is super cute! My mom has a dachshund and loves dogs. So this would be something she would possibly get. Tuesday Morning has journals ranging in price of $3USD to $11USD. I think Tuesday Morning is like the Wonderland of journals and home furniture!

Buying a Journal [Pt. 1]

I had those experiences, walking through an aisle and stumbling on the journal section. Well, more like purposely heading to the journal aisle as soon as I'm that one store.

In my own personal experiences in writing journals, buying them is an important aspect of the process. There are many places to find a journal and some stores have that one journal that just speaks to you!

Here are some stores that I personally enjoy going to in getting my journals and keeping prices in mind, these stores can range from a bit more to a bit less. Nonetheless, they are wonderful in finding amazing quality of journals overall.
