Buying a Journal [Pt. 1]

I had those experiences, walking through an aisle and stumbling on the journal section. Well, more like purposely heading to the journal aisle as soon as I'm that one store.

In my own personal experiences in writing journals, buying them is an important aspect of the process. There are many places to find a journal and some stores have that one journal that just speaks to you!

Here are some stores that I personally enjoy going to in getting my journals and keeping prices in mind, these stores can range from a bit more to a bit less. Nonetheless, they are wonderful in finding amazing quality of journals overall.

• Burlington Coat Factory
• $--journals are priced under $10USD typically, ranging from around $2.00 to $7.00USD
• Surprisingly, they have other products asides the good quality coats there. They have home decor as well as a section dedicated to journals. Generally speaking, I have been to a few of their stores in Utah and they are consistent on their journal aisles. An example of journal products they had sold and, so far, continue to supply are Sweetheart and Pooch. I personally have a few of those and they are good quality journals as well as beautiful in designs!
• Tuesday Morning
• $$--journals are mostly under $15USD, ranging from what I had seen in $10.00 to $3.00USD
• These journals are just as amazing and most of the time, they are a bit more mainly because they sell leather journals in addition to the journals found in the other stores. The leather journals come in various colors such as gold and a pink-violet color. One reason why I love this store is that they supply the journals that are so unique and quirky that I keep coming back and easily spend here! One of my favorite journals I got there was a Christian Lacroix journal. Give that brand journal a quick google search and you will find out why I love that type of journal. Recently, I had also gotten a Tiffany designed journal there, too, and it had a glass stained peacock art on the covers. Luckily, Tuesday Morning had those brands of journals in addition also Sweetheart and Pooch, and Juicy Couture journals.
• Ross Dress for Less
• $--journals are inexpensive here and are under $10USD
• For the longest time, I had gotten a majority of my journals here ever since I was a little kid asides from Burlington. Ross has, depending on the store, a good supply of Sweetheart and Pooch and other brand of journals. The one I usually go to here in the city I live in needs to be cleaned up, but the one in Brownsville, Texas was in good condition and organized. The journals here are similar to the types sold at Burlington and I love finding all sorts of journals that randomly stock the shelves.

All in all, you will be surprised to find a variety of journals sold here and everyone has their unique tastes in the types of journals. You will always find at least one journal that speaks to you in either of these stores.
