TYPES | Therapy Journals [pt. 1]

Journal writing is a great way to meditate and serve as a form of therapy! It has helped me, and thus why I have over twenty journals (no joke). Life is a definite rollercoaster of its ups and downs and to deal with that, we all need our outputs. Some people like to talk about what they are going through with others and some prefer to do a hobby activity like going on a walk. For me, I love to write in my journal!

In fact, there are many sorts of journals out there to write and one of my favorite ways to write is for therapy. It gets all the mess in my head out on paper and out of my systems. Now I do some meditation as well when I get stressed and doing breathing exercises gets the negative feelings out. Journals do the same ridding of negative emotions on paper.

If you haven't done a therapy journal, try it out and see if it helps! Everyone is different and some types of journals work for others and some, not so much. However, I think everyone has their own style of journal keeping--it's an adventure for you to find!
