After getting married, shopping for journals has been a whole new adventure mainly because I went from living in a city to living in a town. The biggest store where I am now is a Walmart and when I was still living in the city, it was the mall and Costco with Walmart being on the same level as your local Target and grocery stores.
Living thirty minutes away from both cities and being midway between them, sometimes I would rather shop nearer to home than drive any further than fifteen minutes as there is always some sort of convenience in not wandering too far.
Some of the places I have found to actually have cute journals at reasonable prices here are definitely Walmart (specifically their Pen + Gear brand journals and notebooks), Walgreens (my favorite so far), and Smith's/Kroger (mainly notebooks and limited journal options--though less expensive than Walgreens). On Amazon, you can find more options there and generally, when I am hunting down journals to gift, this is a fun way to find colorful journals too!
